Matt,

The B+ line in the trailer connector of my '94 Ford, now retired,  was
switched.  The line was isolated when the ignition switch was off to protect
the truck's starting battery.  I ordered the truck with the factory trailer
equipment including the wiring harness and seven pin connector.

I thought all Ford's were wired this way.
