[A/S] Dometic Refigator
I have a 1965 Tradewind It has a Dometic fridge modle RM2510 I am sure this
was a recent replacement as it looks too new to be original.
I had the trailer set on a leavel pad at home It cooled just fine . shut it
down and 2 weeks later it would bearly cool eather on elict or gass. I left
the burner on an the 1200mile trip to PA. when i stopped at night it was cold
and remained so for 2days untill I got home to Fl.when the gas ran out and I
switched cylinders It would not cool. Lekt the fire on it oo the way to texas
it worked OK when we stopped it quit coolingand would never start up again
the freezer compartment weuld only cool down to about 55 degrees. When we
opened the door the smell of amonia would
almost knock one over. Why?
Should I just junk the whole thing and install a small electric one or what?
Frome what I have seen the gas fridges ten to in general to be a royal pain
in the butt.
