Re: [A/S] side window glass for 68 overlander

Hi Oliver:

I noticed that you didn't get an overwhelming response to your broken
window question, so I'll just go ahead an take a crack at it (ho ho).

Assuming that you are talking about the curved panes and not the small
flat ones, I doubt if you will be able to find the replacement glass you
are looking for, which is curved tempered glass. Or any curved glass for
that matter. Most people in your position (myself included) replace the
glass with 1/8" plastic, preferable Lexan (polycarbonate). The Lexan is
reasonably flexible and conforms to the curve of the window frame when
pulled in by the little grabbers at the bottom.

If you happen to find any glass ones, be sure to let the group know where
they are and then stand back and watch the mad scramble to git 'em.

Later,
