[A/S] Newbie

My wife and I are new to the group and Airstreaming.

We purchased an airstream about a year and a half ago and bought a 
share in Christmas Airstream Park in Christmas, FL.

In July we purchased a P/U to pull it with.  
We are getting it ready for our maiden voyage.

Just installed the break controller yesterday.

The Airstream had 2 batteries but I think the Univolt system cooked 
them.  I tried to charge them and then discovered there was very 
little water in them.  I filled them and tried to charge them.  It 
was too late.

So I installed a new battery this morning.
One of the connectors to the 2nd battery is broken so after I get 
that replaced (that should be fun :) I will get anther battery.

I am trying to get away with just one battery for now.  I couln't 
find anything in the manual that says I shouldn't run with one.

Does anyone have knowledge of the 2 battery system?
