But wouldn't that constitute a fraud in the essence of the law?  The 
the reason of vehicles being taxed according to its weight is the 
amount of wear and tear on the roads for usage.  Also could you not be 
sighted upon discovery, for a check or accident?  What level law would 
you be up against at that point?  Local or worse?  Will the savings be 
worth it?
