In my experience as a claims adjuster and working with mould remediation
contractors, there is a lot of hype to this subject, but also some very real
perils to the very young, the elderly or anyone with a respiratory
condition. The rest of us will have varying degrees of response to the
presence of mould and mould spores.
This is a very technical subject and if , IMHO , you feel your trailer is
contaminated with a black mould, then get someone who knows what they are
doing to look at it, to remediate it and who are prepared to standby their
work. You should look for someone who has an IICRC certificate (or similar)
in mould remediation.
