I manage apartments in LA, last year we had and increase in mold reports because it was 
a wet year.  We learned that bleach only takes the color out of the mold, and believe it 
or not Dove Dish soap works best at cleaning it because it encapsulates the spores.  
That is what I heard for what it is worth. So bleach and Dove seem to be a good cheap 
way to clean it up.
