Jack,
  MANY motorhomes have an overloaded LF tire, especially if they have 
air suspension. The rear automatically levels the coach F/R, then the 
front levels it side-to-side. If the water tank (LH side, usually) is 
full, the front has to do a lot of work, all on the LH tire, to get it 
level. Instant overload! (this is from the A-W-W-G folks)

A/S has a pretty good suspension system, except for the fact that 
individual wheels or one axle can carry more load than it should. A 
conventional suspension gives you pretty much equal loads on all wheels. 
Because of the way the A/S suspension works, it's imperative that the 
coach be level when towing.
