 My Dodge has an actual fuse, not fuseable link or wire; it's in the
Power Center on the LH inner fender and is rated at 100 amps.

Here's a hint for making your own solder-on terminal lugs: get a piece
of appropiate-sized copper tubing, cut a piece to length, smash one end
flat, and drill a hole in the flat part. You can round the corners of
the flat a bit if you wish, then solder it onto the wire. A little bit
of shrink tubing makes for a very neat job. I've used this trick for
years, and on all sizes of cable, it's much cheaper than what those
things sell for in the store.

When drilling copper, it's best to have a drill sharpened specifically
for that job, or be very, very careful so it doesn't grab when drilling.

If you want to test that fridge, get a BBQ regulator and hose. Be sure
to use 2 wrenches when connecting the hose so you don't twist the gas
valve on the fridge. Also, make certain the fridge is level.
