Bill, If the skin of your trailer remains at ambient temperature in direct sunlight, you would be correct. If it rises, then you need the ventilation. An easy test would be to simply feel the top of your trailer on a bright, sunny day to see if it's hot. Please let us know what your results are. <<Jim>>
