Bob,
 As you point out, these panels are not as efficient as the rigid
outfits. The 32-watt panel is nearly as large physically as my 75-watt
panels, yet give half the output current. Mounting any solar panel
without air space beneath it will cut the output further, as they need
to be cool to function at rated capacity. However, the ability to fasten
the panels directly to the roof of your A/S, following the contours of
the trailer, may make it worthwhile for you.
