Jim, I guess I wasn't clear. The generator is only for use when I need A/C and can't hook up to shore power at a park. Not really a "generator", though. The Honda EU-3000is is the inverter you mentioned, and is very quiet..only 58db or so. It's also certified clean power to use for computers....very stable, and no hash.
