[a/s] Ideal length of a/s?

Hi, Everybody,

As my wife and I pore over the Airstream catalog (and your net
comments), we are stuck on which size to purchase.  My Dad had a 27' a/s
years ago and loved it but always said he wished he'd bought a bigger
one.  I've heard this theme repeated by others.  We're now thinking of
getting a 30' or 31' model.  QUESTION: What are the salient pro's and
con's of this size?  How many parks and RV areas can accomodate this
size trailer? Are there other drawbacks to this size?
