Re: [VAC] Suburban furnace

Terry,
I'm going to rig up a 3" 12VDC muffin fan myself. Our furnace is one of
the older ones that requires no electricity itself, but does a poor job
of circulating the warm air. On the way to the Vintage rally in PA, we
stopped overnight on the PA TurnPike, and the first thing we did was
light the furnace. The thermometer, which is near the ceiling, showed 37
degrees at lightup, and was up to 60 or so within 30 minutes. But, it
was still coldern' hell near our feet. It DID eventually get a bit more
'even' in temperature, but I'd like to hurry it up a bit. I'm even
thinking about TWO muffin fans. As you say, they draw very little power,
about 120 milliamps IIRC, so won't run the battery down overnight.
