[A/S] Keeping batteries charged

Has anyone else had problems keeping their batteries charged while their A/S 
is winterized?  When we winterized our new trailer three weeks ago, the 
battery indicator was orange.  So we plugged it in for several days.  Once 
unplugged the indicator was green.  Checked today and it's orange again.

We've decided to keep the batteries in place in the trailer as we don't have 
a good place for storing them.  We also felt it would be easier to check 
them and charge them.  But we never thought we'd have to do it every three 
weeks.  These are new sealed batteries.   Any suggestions?
