I store my trailer at home I use 2 Optima batteries I  discarded the original 
univolt and replaced it with a 0-10 amp charger. which I  keep plugged in at 
all times. I also leave a couple of lights on 24-7 the in  current is 3 amps 
and the voltage remains at 13 volts. I tried just leaving  everything off and 
found that the batteries went completely flat in a month or  so. this seems to 
work for me.
