LED's generally need some sort of voltage dropping resistor to keep them from
failing, and these are usually built in by the fixture manufacturer. Use a
voltmeter to check the voltage at the light, when plugged into a shore source,
to see what you are getting from the intellipower.
If too much, that is, over 13.8V, talk to your vendor about how to put more
resistance into the circuit.
