[A/S] Hi, I'm new here

Hi,
My name is Rose and I've been married over 3 years and we have a 3 
year old and another on the way. We also have a 1967 30' Soveriegn 
Airstream that we bought 2 year ago and are in the process of semi-
restoring it. We can't bring it to origional condition, but we try 
to incorporate the feel of '67 in our redesign. I have pictures on

The work we've done (I would love comments/criticism from anyone - 
feel free!) We removed 2 layers of carpet (bottom layer origional) 
and replaced it with tiles. In the bathroom, we took everything out, 
cleaned it and put it back (I still have to clean the padded things, 
they were really gross.) We removed the bathroom tiles and put the 
new tile in there as well. We had to replace the origional toilet 
because someone broke it by forcing the foot pedal while it was 
froze up. We washed the spider nests out of the curtains and put 
those back up (I don't think they were origionals.) The cushions 
that came with the trailer were only 1-2" thick, so I replaced those 
with 4" thick pads. Not having the origional cushions, I had to make 
up my own pattern for the cushions and cushion covers which turned 
out so well - I am very proud of those. They fit perfectly in both 
the couch and bed position. (K, I'll stop bragging now) I had to 
scrub the walls with bleach to get them clean. They were soo dirty - 
boy, were my arms sore :) Also, the previous owner must have passed 
in the summer, so the trailer wasn't winterized and everything 
burst. My husband replaced all of the copper pipes with PVC and he 
replaced the faucets, water pump, and water heater, which were all 
origional (we still have them.) We got a new battery (the old one 
looked old enough to be origional.) We tried to clean the water tank 
out - Any ideas on how to sanitize? The previous owner also replaced 
the rear access panel and front window with plywood (Which leaks 
when towed in rain.)

Problems we've noticed (input here would be helpful): 1) Bathroom 
floor in the rear is dryrotting as is by the front door (we fixed 
that) 2) the ceiling is cracked where the posts between the 
rear "bedroom" and kitchen stand. 3) behind the tires, the frame is 
starting to rub through (I can post pic of that later, if desired) 

Has anyone heard of #3 happening, we are very concerned about what 
that might mean.
