Cindy and Carl,
                 You must have a Limited. It surprises me that 
anything would soak into the wood, as the sprayed on finish would 
normally prevent this from happening. Hickory will darken naturally 
just by being exposed to sunlight. The interior of most trailers is if 
anything to moist. I wouldn't think you would have to worry about your 
cabinets drying to much. Wood used for cabinets is usually dried to 7-
10% moisture content. It would have to get pretty hot and dry in your 
trailer for it to have any effect on your cabinets.
