Re: [A/S] International Rally and Club Reorganization - Jim Franklin

Not having full knowledge of the subject I thought it would be a
great time to chime in with my thoughts on this. As I understand the
whole International thing, there are several activities for all to
participate in. The whole International seams to be a celebration of
the owners and product. When gathering a couple thousand people
together it's going to be impossible to have activities that will
turn everyone on. So in order to have a proper celebration, many
activities, skills, and entertainment are on display. If the teen
Queen show is well attended by participants and audience it would be
a shame to nix it. I understand there is a band made up of
volunteers, not everyone can play but, it would be a shame to nix it.
I understand there is art and photo displays, again not everyone
likes art or can take a picture, but it would be a shame to nix it.
Not everyone wants to spend lots of time and money putting back
together an old Airstream, but it would be a shame to nix the vintage
open house. Why would it be a shame, since only a small percentage of
the membership takes part in each of these activities? Why not save
the time, money and effort. Well, since you asked, ( If you didn't
don't read the rest of the post) it's because people like to come
together and celebrate life and share their talents with others.
Eliminate everything that don't float your boat, everyone else
eliminate those things that don't work for them and you
sit...sit...sit, that's fine sometimes but it gets old. I may be off
base here, but I've seen this all before. One of the limited rewards
for living this long. That's all for now. Hey Hunter how'd I do? only
used caps when needed. AL
