[A/S] Old style Airstream disc brakes
David and Kevin.
Old style disc brakes work very well with a controller that costs
less than $120.00. However, the controller must have a "G" force
sensor.
A special controller is not needed with the new style actuators,
either.
Again, most any controller can be used with the new style disc brake
actuator, as long as it has some type of "G" force sensor.
The big advantage of the new style "actuators" is that they do not
require a source of vacuum.
Additionally, because of their small size, they can be mounted under
the front lounge, or in an access compartment, or for that matter, in
any other place that is convenient. In that way, it will also stay
out of the weather.
