[A/S] towing an airstream

long and short (in the oposite order).
1) what do you tow your trailer with?
2) any suggestions for an non-SUV tow car?

I'm soon to come into a Caravel (I hope), and am wondering what
folks are towing their airstreams with. I've seen some differing
opinions, one being any older car should be fine.

Others say, just look to see what the car is rated for (towing,
tounge weight, etc) and go from there. Not having much luck finding
out that information. I was going to try to tow with an old volvo,
but I'm thinking it might not weigh enough.

Don't really want to go the SUV route, would much rather go the old
car way.

Another issue is that we will be traveling with 2-3 dogs so an old
pickup isn't really the best option.
