Christopher,

If you preheat your coach you can comfortably fill you fresh water tank 
and purge any antifreeze before you leave home. Given the temperatures 
you are expecting, once the coach is heat soaked it will take many hours 
for it to cool enough to freeze.
 In our neck of the woods as long as the daytime temperatures get into 
the 40's lows in the 20's are not enough to freeze a coach.
On the return trip you will also be ok to wait until you get home to 
re-winterize.
The furnace is not designed to operate "on the road" and very few will. 
The air flow past the inlet/outlet will snuff out the burner.
