Hi Lois,

I can't say for sure what the problem was but I'm betting it was the fact 
that you were using a short wheelbase SUV as a tow vehicle instead of a real tow 
vehicle.

The Infiniti is not a good choice.  

If you want to tow again get yourself a long wheelbase tow vehicle. The 
longer wheelbase will give you the stability that you are lacking.
