I was glad to hear about the new responsiveness to customer wishes.

I did make it up to the International rally on Saturday and was able to see 
the new trailer display. I'll be up there again today for the vintage open 
house, too. 

I have to say that some of the layouts were not too bad, other's I thought 
were dismal with doors that wouldn't open completely, or cabinets overhead 
over walkways around beds and the like guaranteed to knock a head. One had a 
layout I thought I could live with except for an uncomfortable L-shaped 
couch. One thing that is important to me is a real couch, with the seat and 
back angles set to the usual couch angles, and couch-type softness. I suppose 
there is something for everyone in the layouts, but I wondered if Wally would 
have built some of them. 

Some of the dump piping and valves looked so exposed that I would be afraid 
they'd never survive a gravel road. Maybe I'm missing something about the 
design that makes that not as bad as it appeared to me. My family often took 
the old Tradewind over gravel roads and we enjoyed some wonderful places. 
I'll be doing so again when I get her restored.

I'm glad you were able to get the chance to mention something about design to 
them Hunter. I'd likely have bought a new trailer had I found a design I 
thought would be acceptable to me. And I'm with you... computers are a part 
of life these days, and I'd want a place for one, along with cabling and 
wiring for external wireless networking antennas, as well as external 
cellular/PCS/CDPD antenna provisions, and Ethernet jacks around at 
appropriate places.

I guess the old Tradewind has me spoiled. 

I hope to get the chance to see some of you at the rally later this afternoon.
