There are obviously differences of opinion about what a proper sized
tow vehicle really is. Andy Thompson, the AS dealer in Ontario has had
quite a bit on this over on RV.NET started with the idea of towing a
34' with a Dodge Intrepid.

I too would like to know how New York, or California, or other states
define "wrong vehicle" - I have not seen anything on this so far in
the various places that list towing regulations. I do know that there
are laws regarding the use of chains, brakes, and some other safety
equipment but I haven't seen anything regarding load leveling or any
form of sway control.

i.e. I think a comment about police pulling people over for "wrong
vehicle" is misleading because, unless the definition of a "wrong
vehicle" is offered, the police activity is most likely totally
unrelated to the vehcile and more properly placed in context of rigging.

BTW, a 190 is an Airstream 190 - the B Van that AS offered from 1989
to 1999 or so. It is based on a Ford 350.
