Don,
 The furnace in our Avion starts the blower immediately when the t'stat
calls for heat. It continues to run after the t'stat is satisfied, until the
heat exchanger cools down. This is a 1973 model, with no electronic
controls.

We do have a problem with our furnace: the burner cycles on and off during
operation, apparently on the high-heat shutoff. In most cases, this is due
to blocked airflow someplace, but that doesn't seem to be the problem here.
Dunno what it might be.....
