Hi Brian,

I'm a tech nut too and spend a lot of time in electronic stores. When I 
win the lottery I'm going to go for the Bose 3.2.1 surround system. It 
consists of a small sub woofer, two very small speakers and a combo DVD, 
CD, AM/FM player. It doesn't need a receiver to hook up - goes directly 
into the TV. The sound is incredible. I'd put the speakers in the 
overhead lockers and enjoy all my DVD's on the then bought plasma TV 
which also doesn't take up much space! Only a dollar and a dream 
separates me from the setup!
