Richard,

As a semi pro cook, I would like to have a microwave. I never used a 
convection oven.

As an Airstreamer cook, I use non-electric as much as possible, so I 
would stay with the oven, which I do use a lot.

Can you bake a cake in a covnection oven ? Can you broil things ? I do 
both.

Seems like your own cooking and eating style is more important.
