excellent Andy.  that is exactly why some non Univolt replacements are not TOTAL
replacements.  personally, I leave the polarity/ac voltage plug in  in the
receptacle behind the sink.  I can always see just how bad the park voltage is,
one way or the other.

We need to start a thread on another way to spend $$ on our rigs and protect
them against ambient voltage changes.  The Univolt is very forgiving but it can
tolerate just so much.  

I am talking about voltage stabilizing/clamping, etc.  What is out there for 30a
or even (lesser importance to me and many here not running Tupperwares) 50A
systems?
