 Hello Andy, I think we are on the same page on towing with a half 
ton vehicle, especially towing an Airstream. My own take on this is I 
have always said that an Airstream tows 1000 lbs lighter than any 
other trailer. A 3/4 ton truck is not to bad ,but a 1 ton truck I 
think is little much, but I guess each his own, but I don't like 
beating my trailer to death not to mention myself. If your truck is 
bouncing around,think about what it is doing to your trailer. I think 
that is why some of these people's trailers are falling a part. This 
is my two cents worth. Towing with half three  differnet half tons 
and haven' no problems in southwest Ohio.
