The Ford will out pull the Dodge and I belive it is a
better overall product.  As for diesels I have owned
several VW, and Ford they are much easier to take care
of than gassers.  Most people who make comments about
diesels never have owned one, or wish they had one.

You can buy a very good used truck spend less money
and get a much better truck than any new gasser.  I
have an 84 that I bought for 3,400 and have put aprox
200,000 miles on it.
