RE: [A/S] Tow Vehicles

Why the GM phobia? It has to be based on personal reasons because the
facts make it a, if not the, front runner.

The 7 mile long, 9 percent grades on the east and west routes in and out
of Death Valley were not a problem for my Duramax. That is pulling my
31' Airstream. Total length of 54' and total weight of over 17,000
pounds in temperatures around 100 degrees are proof that the Duramax
deserves consideration as a tow vehicle.

Factory exhaust brake, automatic torque converter lockup, 300 HP and 520
ft-lbs, 5 speed Allison transmission with automatic down sifting all
leave extras limited to cosmetic items of choice.

The negatives are because of the large demand they are in short supply
and expensive.
