[A/S] 66 Ambassador AC wiring

My 66 Ambassador has never had an AC installed.  I'm attempting to do 
it myself without full success. I've got the unit installed (into the 
original front vent opening.   I understand that it is prewired, but 
cannot find the wire.  Also, I don't know which breaker to hook it 
into once I find it (from archived message I'm assuming that the wire 
near by breaker box, but not connected is the wire to AC). To 
complicate things, I'm dealing with aluminum wiring.  Has anyone body 
run new cooper wire in this situation to the AC only? How do you 
route it? How do you connect in (existing or new breaker) to ensure 
being able to work with 30a service? All help is greatly appreciated.
