kidding!!)

Balmorrhea State Park is nice.  White Sands Missile Range, I believe, still has areas 
that are open.  It is really neat to see -- and kids and grandkids love to go 
"sand-surfing."  The first
underground school in the world is in Artesia, NM.  But I believe they closed it 3 or 
4 years ago, but it is now on the National historic register.  I'm not sure what they 
are doing with it.  If you
need a good Mexican restaurant, try the La Fonda in Artesia, NM.
