Kohlee,
 Get a copy of both "RV Maintenance & Repair" by Livingston and
"Managing 12 Volts" by Barre. They'll go a long way towards getting you
up to speed.

Another good resource is http://www.phrannie.org, click on "poop sheets"
and figure on spending several hours reading.
