After replacing my trailer battery for the third time in a year, I decided
to check out the converter.  It was a Magnetek, which wasn't reducing the
charge voltage as the battery charged up, resulting in boiling out the
water.

It's gone now.  There's a new Intelipower 9100 (40 amp) in there, with the
Charge Wizard, and it's better.  Quieter, too.
