Hi

Our local Trailer Supply place has a lot of different Converter/Charger to 
choose from. One a Magnetek, has the converter /12 amp charger in the bottom 
box and an ac/dc distribution panel on top. All in one and you would not have 
to use the old fuse panel you have now. Just wire into the new one. This unit 
is about $254.00. You could go with a more basic one like a Centurion 12 volt 
with a 12 amp battery charger for about $138.00. you can just connect the dc 
to your old fuse panel. Which ever way you go I agree with Arnie, get one 
designed for continual RV use.
