I've got a Magnatek in the RV (using the original distribution panel), and
another in the Burro, with the Magnatek AC/DC distribution panel. When the
Trailwind's ready, I'm putting one in there, too. The advantage of the
Magnatek (and Statpower, and Intellipower with ChargeWizard) is that they
STOP charging your battery when the battery's charged - which most auto
battery chargers will - but they also 'know the difference' between a low
battery charge, and high 12VDC load... a regular auto battery charger is
likely to 'cook' your battery.
