Hey Gang - for what it's worth....

I tow my 64 Tradewind 24' with a 1995 Ford Crown Vic 4Door sedan in OD and 
although it screams up the worst mountains in WVA an VA it's just fine.

I installed a separate Trans cooler with it's own manually operated fan
and experience no over heating of the tranny.  A side benefit is my A/C and 
radiator run cooler as well.

Mileage at 55 is 10.5, 65 is 10, 75 is 9 to the gallon.  That's the big 
negative at todays prices as I'm not stationary for long with my job.
