[A/S] Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel Question

Often, when we travel to the southern states, we stay one overnight on the Bay Bridge Tunnel. The
first of four man-made islands (about 3 miles from Virginia Beach) is the only island with a fishing
pier, a restaurant and two parking lots on it - just before the road goes down into the tunnel and
under the bay. 

Taking this route shortens our trip by 100 miles and a couple of hours. By arriving just before
sunset, it gives us a chance to park where we'll have an excellent view of the bay, we can walk out
on the pier, eat in the restaurant and visit the souvenir / gift shop. 
 
We always ask one of the workers if staying overnight is still allowed. Sometimes, I ask the Tunnel
Authority Police and other times, the Restaurant Manager. Every time, we've been encouraged to stay
and invited to come into the restaurant early in the morning for breakfast. 

There used to be signs in the parking lot at Sea Gull Fishing Pier saying, "Parking Limit 18 Hours."
The signs were to limit how long fishermen could park, especially during weekends. 

Each time we stop, one of our favorite activities is watching the ocean going ships gliding through
this busy shipping channel. Some of the ships are US Navy and some are commercial tankers. With
binoculars, it's quite a sight - in addition to soaking up a spectacular view of Chesapeake Bay.

Usually we leave the next morning, but there have been times when we've lingered. Sometimes, simple
things are entertaining. We're looking forward to taking that route again this November.   

My question: Do you know if the signs are still there? The were two years ago.
