[A/S] Help! Newbie needs info on 1975/76 airstream ASAP

I was offered a July 1975 built Ambassador c-11 land yacht today for 
$2500.  Other than thinking they're cool , I know nothing.  It's been 
sitting for 7 years so the curtains and wall paper are shot, but it 
seems complete.  The overhead vents(?)have been sorta pulled down and 
it has dents on the front by the hitch where they turned too sharp. 
It has a full bath at the rear, then a couch bed, a kitchen, and 
another couch bed.Someone broke the door lock our, too.  I realize 
that the fridge, stove, H2O heater are propane, but what about the 
HVAC and lights?  Does it have a generator thing somewhere?  I would 
like something self contained for use outside of a RV park.
Please have pity and point me to some answers.  He wants me to commit 
and I need a place, but it'll be expensive for me.  thanks  M
