Another difference is that Kelsey Hayes encourages manual actuation (and the button pressure on either the control or the remote sets the braking current) while Tekonsha says don't use the manual button for anything but calibration. Though I've heard of at least one installer who recommended manual actuation for curing trailer sway. Gerald J.
