[A/S] Aluminum Wiring Paranoia

Anybody that says they walk around their entire house monthly to check
for hot receptacles has a lot less to do than me.

Here is my two cents worth:

1.  If my '66 TradeWind has been doing ok and hasn't caught fire in 34
years it won't suddenly combust now.

2.  When a receptacle is replaced, use the right kind for aluminum
wiring, Home Depot has them by the box, clearly marked.  I'm sure the
anti-oxidant compound is a worthwhile precaution

3.  What is there in an Airstream to catch fire except the cabinets and
upholstery?  Nothing in the walls except fiberglas insulation.
