It only takes one to make it no more. And those loose connections are
looser than they ever are. Each heat cycle on an aluminum connection
makes it looser.

There's combustible glue in the fiberglass, there's PVC wire insulation
that produces hydrochloric acid fumes when it burns, there's the floor
covering carpet or tile, and the floor itself and the clothing of the
occupants both on them and in the closets. Those PVC wire insulation
fumes were blamed in several deaths in a Des Moines department store
fire (neglecting all the PVC in the fixtures and chlorine compounds in
the polyester clothes and the true maze of that store's layout) and the
jury concurred making the wire manufacturers responsible for the deaths.
