Roy, you beat me to the punch.  I was working in my trailer this afternoon
and realized I misinformed the group about rivets running horitzontal.

On my '57, there *are* horitzontal braces into which the exterior shell is
riveted.  This was the case from the floor up to window height.  In the aft
portion of the ceiling though, there were no braces running horizontally.

I don't know if it is that way for most of the length of the trailer, but
while I was on the roof cleaning out my A/C, the horizontal roof rivet
portions definitely flexed where the side-to-side rivet parts did not.

To add to Roy's comment below, at least the vintage skeleton is not entirely
self-connected.  I'm not sure how much of that design is due to
consideration of panel flex from temperature changes, but this seems to be a
factor.
