[a/s] Hardwood floors (Spilled coffee suggestions)

Where this thread was always leading me, is that a lot of people have old 
carpeting that they would like to shed in exchange for a nice hardwood (or 
maybe tile) floor with throw rugs.  The big question is whether we would 
have to rip out all of our cabinets and beds to do a good quality floor job.

If it was not too much, I would take it on and install some of the precut 
hardwood flooring that is packaged at Home Depot and other such stores.  My 
landlord at my last apartment did the hall with this stuff and it looked 
spectacular.  One more thing.  When I was restoring my Safari up in 
Oregon.  The guy next to me had an old Airstream that he was rebuilding 
from scratch.  The first thing he installed was an oak floor.  It looked 
spectacular.
