Bob,

A few weeks or more before you subscribed we had a sort of straw pole here from
just about everyone as to whether they had carpet under all or not. It seems
that everyone, even trailers the age of your own vintage 66 coach that we now
all know and love so well, had carpet under all when it came off the assembly
line well back into the 60's and perhaps before. This thread became so long as
others chimed in that their A/S also had carpet under all, that HH said, "Enough
already," and she stipulated that we would accept that this was the situation
without having to know exactly how far back into Airstream history this
situation started. Nuff said.
