I just got some disparaging news. An Airstream user here told me that he
wouldn't pull a trailer with a 4WD Suburban - that he'd prefer a 2WD. Do I
have a problem? It hasn't hurt me yet. Is he maybe concerned with the final
ratio? It's low, which is good, if anything. (Correct?)

(I'd opt for a 2WD, but I do use four quite alot in this part of the
country, usually just to get started out of a slippery situation.)
