Re: [a/s] Santa Fe.. May 22, 2000

Hunter,

Santa Fe was nice...couldn't agree with you more.

The jewelry was nice but definitely not worth the hassle of wheeling and
dealing and then you walk away and they come after you with a lower
price...so, you don't really know where to end it. We bought some on the
road in AZ that was as good-but cheaper. They did have a good selection
though. Our friends bought some there and shopped the open air areas and
ended up in the store across from "central park". It was funny because we
saw the same faces of the sales persons there as was outside in the open air
area. He paid $400 for a belt buckle! Ouch!

I wonder what campground you might be in? It might be helpful if you remark
on the campgrounds and give the name.

If you ever go to Moab, UT, you will see a campground called Spanish Trails.
We stayed there and thoroughly enjoyed it while we visited Arches National
Park. The layout of the cg is such that you really aren't in each other's
faces but you are parked fairly close. All pull-throughs with a view. Nice
spot. Some nice folks from IN bought this place when it was 2 years old.
They had owned a KOA in IN and wanted some place that didn't need so much
upkeep. They said the tourism influx is steady all spring and summer. Then
the snowbirds fill their place during the fall...on their way south. They
probably do pretty good.

Good to hear from you....I'd also be interested in your findings on the
exhaust brake for the "Bruiser".
